Pete leads the consulting firm Better Energies, working at the intersection of technology, policy, and the market to profitably decarbonize our energy supply.  Prior to founding Better Energies, he was a director at the Center for Sustainable Energy.  Pete has worked as a venture capitalist, engineer and consultant in over a dozen countries. His clients and employers have included Eurus Energy, Sharp Electronics, EnerNOC, NRG Energy, Solar Turbines (a Caterpillar company), Lockheed Martin as well as various investment funds, start-ups, and non-profits.

Pete holds degrees from Swarthmore College (BS, Engineering), UC Davis (MS, Transportation Technology & Policy), and Cornell University (MBA).
